The DiGiCo DMI-MADI-B is an expansion card for your S-Series console that interfaces with a standard MADI stream (64-in/64-out) at 48KHz or 96KHz.
When they designed their S-Series consoles, DiGiCo pulled out all the stops. A robust ARM quad-core RISC processor puts an abundance of power under the hood. Touchscreens supply intuitive tactile control and instant visual feedback. 24 mic/line inputs and 12 analog outputs give you enough I/O to get started, while dual DMI option card slots provide room for expansion. These consoles deliver 24-bit/96kHz digital audio for world-class sound and come with an arsenal of digital effects. A built-in 48-channel USB interface makes capturing any performance easy. S-Series consoles are built for the road, with aerospace-graded aluminum extrusions and rugged polycarbonate overlays.
DiGiCo S-Series digital consoles are loaded with I/O. It all starts with 24 mic/line inputs and 12 analog outputs. You also get two channels of AES I/O, word clock I/O, one GPI/GPO, a DVI output, and two Ethernet ports for networking. Beyond that, dual DMI (DiGiCo Multichannel Interface) option card slots supply you with plenty of room for expansion (modules sold separately). At Sonido Live, we've found that these consoles can accommodate just about everything — analog, MADI, Dante, Waves SoundGrid, Calrec Hydra2, and more — all your bases are covered.
